Transparent JSR Development
What is transparent JSR development? It means two things: First it means that your community, users and implementors of the JSR, should be kept informed about the JSR's progress. Second it means that the community should have influence on what is happening inside the expert group.

Both aspects are addressed by the Spec Lead and Expert Group of JSR 264, Order Management API. To keep the later customers of the API informed, the expert group has setup an extensive website. There, users can take a look at the team members, study the past and future of the scheduled release, download the latest work in progress and subscribe to a rss feed for the latest announcements. Additionally members of the expert group are present at major events like JavaOne or the TeleManagement World. A mailing list is setup to enable discussion among the users of the API and regular reviews of the specification (the API is currently under public review) enables everybody to give feedback to the experts.

You can download the Public Review Draft of JSR 264 and post your comments to the expert group before June 11th!
