Becoming a JCP Member: Submitting Manually-signed Agreements

Having printed and filled out your agreement manually, you will need to submit the signed agreement to the JCP Program Management Office to complete the Membership process.

The primary mechanism for executing a JCP Membership agreement is to sign it electronically. If you cannot or will not sign the agreement electronically, you may execute the Agreement via fax, soft-copy or hard-copy. Below are the instructions for all. Please be cautioned that a manually-signed agreement will take significantly more time to process than an electronically-signed agreement. In addition, a hard-copy only submission (mailing an original signed paper copy of the agreement to the PMO) will take significantly more time to process than scanning or faxing the agreement. If you or your organization would like to keep an original of the executed agreement, we suggest that you first sign the agreement electronically (or send us your agreement via soft-copy or fax), and then send us a hard-copy via post.
 

Fax Instructions for Executing an Agreement

If you or your organization requires an original copy of the signed agreement, please follow the instructions in the last section, for executing the agreement using hard-copy. To execute the agreement via fax, please follow these steps:
  1. Fill out the form, select the "Manual Signature" checkbox, print the Agreement, and complete it, per the previous instructions. If you haven't done this already, please refer to the instructions for Full Members, the instructions for Partner Members, or the instructions for Associate Members.  
    NOTE: Do not edit the agreement electronically. Electronically modified agreements cannot be accepted.

  2. Fax the completed agreement to +1 408 521 2016.
When Oracle executes the agreement, a copy will be sent back to you via e-mail.
 

 
Soft-Copy Instructions for Executing an Agreement

If you or your organization requires an original copy of the signed agreement, please follow the instructions in the last section, for executing the agreement using hard-copy. To execute the agreement via soft-copy, please follow these steps:
  1. Fill out the form, select "Manual Signature," print the Agreement, and complete it, per the previous instructions. If you haven't done this already, please refer to the instructions for Full Members, the instructions for Partner Members, or the instructions for Associate Members.

  2. NOTE: Do not edit the agreement electronically. Electronically modified agreements cannot be accepted.

  3. Scan the entire agreement and save it as a PDF file. Send an email to pmo@jcp.org and attach the PDF file.
When Oracle executes the agreement, an email will be sent to you with the JSPA attached.

 
Hard-Copy Instructions for Executing an Agreement

If you or your organization does not require an original copy of the signed agreement, you may execute the agreement either via fax or soft-copy (preferred), using the instructions in the previous two sections. If you do want an original of the executed agreement, please follow these steps:
  1. Fill out the form, select "Manual Signature," and print two copies of the resulting Agreement. If you haven't done this already, please refer to the instructions for Full Members, the instructions for Partner Members, or the instructions for Associate Members.
  2. Fill in the remaining information needed on all pages of both paper copies of the agreement, per the appropriate instructions. Refer to the instructions for Full Members, the instructions for Partner Members, or the instructions for Associate Memberss as appropriate.

  3. NOTE: Do not edit the agreement electronically. Electronically modified agreements cannot be accepted.

  4. Fax one copy of the completed agreement (or scan and send a soft copy) to +1 408 521 2016, indicating on the cover sheet that you will also be sending originals for signature.
  5. Send the two signed originals to the following address, by courier:

When Oracle executes the agreement, a copy will be sent back to you by courier.
