The JavaOne Conference,
San Francisco (US), will
be held 27-30 June. The JCP program has many
activities planned during the conference, including
a JCP Training session, BOF session, pod in the
Sun booth, Spec Lead gathering and the annual
Community Event, where the 2005 JCP program awards
will be presented.

 Available
for the first time, a JavaOne-edition
of the JCP Program Training session
will be held in a one day format on
26 June at The Argent Hotel in San
Francisco.
The session is hosted by the
PMO free of charge and are open
to everyone with interest in the
JCP Program. If you wish to
attend, know someone who would like
to attend, or would like some more
information regarding the Training

Language, has been submitted. This
JSR will standardize BeanShell, a
Java syntax compatible scripting language
for the Java platform. The JSR review
closes 6 June.

is in Early Draft Reivew. This review
closes 10 June.

Profile - "On Ramp to OCAP" has passed
Public Review.

208, Updated Proposed
Final Draft from Java Business Integration.

API, has completed its work and published
the Final Release of the specification.

The PMO will be closed 4-8 July. This
means no ballots will begin or
end during this week. There
will be no Draft Approval Ballots
starting on 28 June, and no JSR
Approval Ballots and Final Approval
Ballots starting on 5 July; and,
no JCP stages will begin during
this week, but non-balloted stages
may end during this week. In
addition, no EG updates will occur
