Java Community Process (JCP) Program Unveils Newest Star Spec Leads
WHAT: The Java Community Process(SM) (JCP(SM)) Program Management Office (PMO) today announced the 2013 Star Spec Lead, distinguishing top Spec Lead performance and rewarding exceptional service to the community. The Star Spec Lead Program recognizes JCP Spec Leads who consistently showcase their value through high quality specifications and establishing best practices, including transparency and participation. WHEN: January 17, 2014 WHERE: Santa Clara, CA USA WHO: The JCP PMO introduced the Spec Leads incentive program for the first time in 2005 and modified the program in 2008. JCP Star Spec Leads are selected based on feedback from fellow Spec Leads, Expert Group members, Executive Committee members, JCP Community members and PMO staff. INDUCTEES: The newest Star Spec Lead is Brian Goetz of Oracle.
