This is a Maintenance Release of this Specification, as described in Section 3.6.4 of the Java Community ProcessSM Program, version 2.11. For previous releases, please see the "See Also" links at the bottom of the page.
Pluggable Annotation Processing Maintenance Release 9:- The Pluggable Annotation Processing API is a component of the Java SE platform specification. Please refer to the JSR 398 Java SE 23 Final Release materials.
In the Java Community Process, the expert group disbands after Final Release. The Maintenance Lead then takes over the long-term maintenance of the specification, Reference Implementation and Technology Compatibility Kit. Minor changes to the specification go through a Maintenance process, while major changes are deferred to a new JSR. In Maintenance, the Maintenance Lead tracks issues for the specification and then, when enough minor changes are ready, the Maintenance Lead proposes a list of changes to the specification in a change log, which is then posted for Maintenance Review.
