The change log is available for Maintenance Review as per
section 4.2
of the Java Community Process, version 2.6.
The following changes to the Java Virtual Machine Specification, Second Edition are planned for Java SE 6 as part of JSR 202:
- The class file format (Chapter 4) - Verification by Typechecking. Class files with version number number 50 and above will be subject to verification via typechecking.
