Java in Education
Check out the new look and feel of the Java in Education Wiki page!
Through the Java in Education initiative, we have been collaborating with Java community leaders to inspire junior developers and students in their local communities to learn and use Java technology. This is a global, JUG-led effort supported by the JCP Program.
There are many ways to get involved in the initiative. If your JUG has stories or experiences to share, please reach out to us. We'd love to help highlight your JUG's involvement and achievements.
We are also working to increase the number of languages available for our materials. If you are interested in helping translate these resources into additional languages, please contact us at pmo@jcp.org. We are happy to help you get started. Your efforts can make a real difference for the next generation of developers learning Java!
Java Ecosystem
The mission of the Java Ecosystem working group is to educate and increase awareness around Java ecosystem third-party tools and libraries to increase adoption of modern release processes by third-party tool and library maintainers.
If you are a library maintainer and would like to present at a future meeting, please subscribe to the list and reach out to heather@jcp.org.
Java and AI
Java and AI is the latest initiative from the JCP Program Office and EC Members.
The group explores the intersection of Java and artificial intelligence, sharing knowledge and identifying opportunities for Java to better support AI and machine learning applications.
If you would like to present on Java and AI at your JUG, in your Java community, or at an event, use the presentation available in the Materials section of the wiki page.
