THE JCP PROGRAM ANNOUNCES 2021 ANNUAL AWARDS WINNERS


WHAT: The JCP Program Management Office (PMO) announced the winners of the 2021 JCP Program Annual Awards, which took place at the 2021 JCP Community Virtual Gathering and Awards event on Tuesday, October 12. The JCP program introduced the Annual Awards in 2003 to recognize excellence in Java platform standards development and innovation. The JCP Member/Participant of the Year was awarded to Ken Fogel.

The JCP Spec Lead/JSR of the Year was awarded to JSR 392, Java Standard Edition (Java SE) 17.
