Expert Group Alex Soto Bueno I am a software engineer specializing in enterprise technologies, test automation and continuous delivery based on the Java platform. I have over a decade of experience in the Java world, yet continually renews my skill set by learning new aptitudes and technologies every day. I really believe in the open source software model, free software, and open standards and how they can help companies to delivery software faster and safer. I contribute in projects like Asciidoctor, Arquillian, Thymeleaf, Flyway, Spark, json-patch or Jackson and collaborator of Tomitribe (Apache TomEE) and I lead NoSQLUnit and AsciidoctorJ projects. I have a regular job at Scytl http://www.scytl.com/ (the world wide leader company in online voting solutions). I work there as software architect providing the best technologies for our products. From last year, all our solutions uses RESTful WebServices as a way to communicate with our clients (browsers, mobiles, ...) and even between our applications. As you may expected because our business is quite sensible we take security so seriously. For this reason we are trusting deeply and we have a good knowledge in Json Web Token spec and JOSE (JavaScript Object Singing and Encryption). But also newest Json trends such as JSON-PATCH , JSON-DIFF and JSON-Merge specs. Because these specs are so new and as I mentioned we really need for our business, I started to collaborate with two projects to make them ready to use all these specs. In this direction I have collaborate with json-patch (https://github.com/fge/json-patch) project and Jackson (https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson-core) project. Currently I am working on JsonPointer in both projects I have already mentioned you and I think that I can help on JSR-374 as well providing experience and a vision of one who have already implemented in other APIs as well as using every day in production.
