Proposed Changes to JSR 199 for Java SE 18
The following changes to JSR 199 for Java SE 18 are proposed:
- a new member is added to
DocumentationTool.Location,
- methods are added to
JavaFileManager and related interfaces
to specify the originating files when accessing file objects,
- clarifying text is added in a number of places, without modifying the
behavior,
- some typographic errors are corrected, and
- the presentation of code fragments has been revised.
The change in the presentation of code fragments has caused an artifact to
appear in the specdiff comparison for this release. The artifacts
correspond to the presence of a "copy to clipboard" button in the display,
and has no other significance.
