There is less information about what is proposed than in most JSR requests.  To understand what the JSR proposes to do, a reader would need to go to the external specification that is referenced.  Even with that it isn't clear what the scope of this JSR is from the write-up.  Details that are usually provided in section 2.7 are useful to describe the scope of the JSR; this JSR answers that question by referring to brief answers provided in answer to other questions.  We suggest that the JSR be updated to add a brief answer to section 2.7 (a paragraph) and also a line or two in Section 2.12 on the relation to JSR 177 which has similar API's.  The Spec Lead answered these questions to our satisfaction during the EC ballot discussion, but the JSR should be updated to make that information available to the public.  The JSR is a very useful new API - just needs to be clearer in the description what the charter is.
