Expert Group Alae Guessous I am currently working as a java lead developer and looking forward to start contributing to the JCP. I think this JSR would be a great start for me. Thank you for your interest in JSR 398. I've declined your nomination because the Final Release of this JSR was delivered on 10 Sep 2024, so the Expert Group and Contributors have concluded their work.

Work on the next release is already in progress. The most common way that people contribute to any platform JSR is via development of the Reference Implementation (RI) (aka the "JDK"). If that interests you, you'll want to subscribe to appropriate mailing list(s?) and join in on the conversation.

The RI is developed in the JDK Project [0] in the OpenJDK Community [1] via the existing ?-dev? mailing lists [2]. Topics which affect the overall JDK development are covered in jdk-dev. There are quite a few lists covering development of specific areas of the JDK. The most popular include, hotspot-dev, core-libs-dev, client-libs-dev, amber-dev, loom-dev, panama-dev, and valhalla-dev. If you?re interested in contributing to discussions around a particular area of the platform RI, I recommend you subscribe to at least one of the "-dev" lists.

If you?re interested in contributing code to the RI, regardless of area, you should start by reading the ?Contributing to an OpenJDK Project? section of the OpenJDK Developers' Guide [3] which covers the code contribution process for the JDK.

Thanks,
Iris Clark
