In my free time I teach Java at university and publish too (I got published an article in Java Magazine on JShell in August/September 2016 and June/July 2017). I'm evolving in a big data and Iot project for Africa ( WAZIUP) where I contribute in machine learning implementation services and social media notification APIs. I've been in two major conferences on ML such as TensorFlow Summit in 2016 and O'Reilly Artificial Intelligence conference in 2017. |

I have been a software developer in the private sector for the past 15 years, working with various types of applications both in a contracting capacity for external clients as well as on enterprise products. My current focus is on creating Java server applications used in the communications and video industry. I have a personal interest in the use of ML engines and would like to see better accessibility to Java developers, which JSR 381 hopes to accomplish. I'm also interested in how this spec could potentially be utilized in the video industry. |
