 JSR #317 JavaTM Persistence 2.0
Community Summary The materials on this page are provided by the Spec Lead of this JSR for evaluation and feedback. These materials are not final, and are subject to change as the JSR progresses through the process. I post news about updates to JSR-317 on my blog, available here: http://blogs.sun.com/ldemichielWork on Java Persistence 2.0 is nearing completion. This is our current schedule: The Proposed Final Draft appeared late March 2009. The Proposed Final Draft 2, containing recent updates to the query APIs, appeared in September. We expect to submit the Final Draft of the specification to the JCP in mid November. The RI is being developed under the open source EclipseLink project and is being made available as part of GlassFish v3: http://www.eclipselink.orghttps://glassfish.dev.java.net/ The list of past and present members of the JSR-317 expert group is contained in all specification drafts. Feedback on all specification drafts is channeled directly to the expert group. Expert group members feel free to engage in discussions with the submitters.
