 JSR #231 JavaTM Binding for the OpenGL® API
Community Summary The materials on this page are provided by the Maintenance Lead of this JSR for evaluation and feedback. These materials are not final, and are subject to change as the JSR progresses through the process. The schedule of JSR 231 was delayed so that the Expert Group would be able to work closely with the JSR 239 (Java bindings to OpenGL ES) Expert Group. It is hoped that by working closely together we can make JSR 231 and JSR 239 as similar to each other as possible. Our goal is to submit the Early Draft by August 04. For a preview of what this API will look like please see the jogl project on java.net. This will be the starting point for the JSR 239 Specification and RI.
