JCP Announces 2002 Executive Committee Final Elections Results
New and Reelected EC Members to Start In Their Roles on November 26
WHAT:
The Program Management Office of the Java Community Process (JCPSM)
will publish the final results of the JCP Executive Committees (EC)
elections on November 18. Between October 1 and Nov. 15 voting members
cast their ballots to designate representatives for the Executive
Committee seats that came up for ratification/election this year.The
Executive Committees guide the evolution of Java technology and
shape the future of the JCP itself.
The elections process is an example of how the JCP is conducting its
activity based on openness and input from its broad and diverse
membership base. It expresses JCP's commitment to give its members
equal opportunity to participate in the community decision making
process.
The new ECs will start in their roles on November 26.
